An introductory workshop led by
Jaiia Earthschild
A day of exploration into sound, toning and voice for all levels
of experience ~
For those who love to tone and sing, for professionals, artists
and healers and
For those who know that it is time to develop their own sound but
are shy... fear not!
This is a day of pleasurable learning and creative life enhancement!
11 am to 5pm, Saturday July 24 at the home of Drs.
Steven Vogue and Anastas Harris

You will receive toning tools to awaken, strengthen and open your own
voice
-
You will experience a yoga of sound that, through tone, intrinsically
heals and develops the voice and enlivens the entire body/mind/emotional
system that we live within and express ourselves through.

You will spend time accessing your creative power and the power of the
group, creating a medicine song and accompanying each other’s songs with
tones that heal as they inspire.

You will be given the opportunity to connect your tone to your organs
and chakras, empowering or liberating chosen aspects - from your thinking
and feeling to your sexuality.

You will learn how to empower your voice with your chakras - whether
in speaking, singing or toning.

You will be introduced to the formative forces upon which all language
is built ~ the Archetypes of Sound

You will have the experience of touching the world of harmony, experiencing
how this affects our consciousness and using it to enrich your song creations.
This is a day that includes many aspects of human tone. There
will be times that are deeply meditative and times when we have the chance
to play and develop our musicality and our potential as enchanters…
those who truly chant with power.
The only requirement is that you can match a tone with others. If
you re not sure about this, call Jaiia at

private sessions and has helped many to overcome this particular challenge.

About your Guide for the Day...
Jaiia Earthschild sang before she spoke, and spent so much time
singing that as a child,
her parents had her stand on the seat divider and sing through the
open roof of the family car.
She sang non-stop while they traveled Europe.
Writing songs, arias and poetry was, along with dancing, the essence
of life for her from infancy
As a teenager, she studied and sang with a professional liturgical
choir, traveling Australia and singing in cathedrals,
on TV and once for the pope. Music was for her as sports are for
many.
Every spare moment of life was spent either practicing piano, singing
or studying music.
At the age of 17 she was accepted as a trainee teacher and artistic
therapist in the Waldorf homes for children with special needs. There,
her gifts were quickly recognized and she was exposed to many of the music
therapists from around the world who offered her unique insights into the
esoteric aspects of sound, rhythm, harmony and healing based upon the work
of Rudolf Steiner, the extraordinary mystic scientist.
Studies at the NSW conservatory led her further into the power of
sound
both as a formative influence in society and as a healing modality.
She was a founding member of the Australian Association of Music
Therapy in 1974
and acquired her diploma in Curative Education in 1978, specializing
in music therapy.
She has taught esoteric voice and sound to people of all ages since
the age of 18. Her first students ranged in age from 4 years old to 68
years and currently her students range from 5 to 83 so she has had the
privilege of seeing how profoundly music and sound can affect people’s
lives no matter what their age, their 'intelligence' or their socio-economic
status.
Temporarily crippled through a spinal disorder at the age of 28,
with a poor prognosis and the threat of neuro-surgery,
she healed herself utilizing the principles of sound and associated
movement
that had been handed down to her. This was a shamanic intiation
into healing the 'incurable' and she has gone on
to share this potential with many others.
Profound experiences with humpback whales in Hawaii added another
unique dimension to her understanding of the power of sound,
as did her work for over ten years as musician and
co-facilitator with
Charles and Caroline Muir in the realm of western
tantra and sexual healing.
A therapist’s therapist, she has worked with numerous psychologists
and cutting edge therapists both as a co-facilitator in workshops and seminars
and as a personal therapist.
Over the years, her remarkable experiences of life have combined
to create a body of information that can only be shared in the form of
gradual initiation.
The work she began in Australia as a workshop teacher in sound was
passed on through hypnosis to her partner at the time when she moved to
Hawaii to develop her work as a composer.
He became known as the ‘sonic guru’ of the Southern Hemisphere.
Many of her other students have gone on to successful careers in
music.
The work being offered in this workshop is about
healing, consciousness and ecstatic sonic passion.
It is equally suited for those who know ‘nothing’ or ‘everything’
about sound and voice.
