If you were among those who saw it, you know that the message of this show is one that is very timely if not outright prophetic. As I understand it, the balance of life requires articulate voices proclaiming the truth from the perspective of the natural world. Even as the corporate military industrial giant heaves itself mercilessly across an increasingly hot globe, the very fabric of existence is working to regenerate and renew itself into a balance that will allow life on earth to survive, evolve and thrive.
OurStory is an offering on
behalf of that balance.
It is my intention to introduce
the full opera with such beauty and power that
the voice of Nature
can only be welcomed and once again honored by the
collective consciousness.
OurStory has been described by Andrew Beath, author of 'Consciousness in Action' and one of the directors of the World Festival of Sacred Music, as sharing a message as important for our time as Hair was for the 60’s. For this reason Andrew has adopted the project under the non-profit Earthways, which he founded to support direct eco-action in the Amazon rainforests and conscious activist projects worldwide.

OurStory is a way to sing our truth
with a voice of beauty powered by peace.

even if you'd rather not admit it!
I recall some, many created before I was born - 'Some Enchanted Evening'...'There's a Place
for Us'....'Summertime'....'I could have Danced All Night"....'Don't Cry
for Me Argentina"
We have been defined as a culture
by the great musicals of the past 60 + years.
More powerful than advertizing,
these songs live on for generations.
OurStory
is a way to define the next 50 years -
to help us nurture our culture back
into loving harmony and balance -
between the sexes, the generations,
the cultures and
between Humanity and Mother Earth.
The music of this opera has the
power of the ancient bards coursing through it.
Each song was written out of profound
communion
with Earth and the elemental forces
of creation.
Obeying the impulse that wrote
itself through me these past 20 years,
my life was altered forever, Ask,
and I will tell you some of the mysteries
behind the music.
It is almost beyond belief, unless
you believe in magic.
For this reason, I humbly ask for your support.
